I. Academic Contest Awards

Since 2005, the students from  the  School of Accounting have participated in many contests, such as  the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Business Plan Competition, the "Challenge Cup" National College student Curricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition, National English Contest for College Students, the National Mathematical Contest, the National Undergraduate Mathematical Modeling Contest, International College Student Entrepreneur Alliance Business Practices Challenge, National Students' Management Decision-making Simulation Contest, ACCA Job Hunting Competition,  "Golden Key Cup" Entrepreneurship Contest in Guangdong Province, "Yonyou Cup" Electronic Sand Table Business Simulation Contest, and so on. They won a total of more than 50 awards and  200 of our students are award-winners, among which, Liu Jiong  was awarded  " the Best Individual Award of ACCA Job Hunting Competition in July 2014.

II. Scientific Research Projects

Since 2005, the students of Accounting School have got many projects, such as " Status Quo Analysis and Development Forecast for Our Countries’ Convertible Bonds", " Financial and Accounting Issues during the Financial Crisis Period ", "Corporate Risk Assessment in the Financial Crisis - Research on Export Issues", "Research on Company's Internal Audit Outsourcing Decisions Based on Principal-agent Theory”, “Study on the Distorted Relationship Between Audit Commissioned Sides – on the Basis of the Kelon example” "and so on. There are more than 30 programs funded or supported by the Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, with over 100 student participants.
