International Students give a stunning performance in “Study in China, Study in Guangdong" Education Achievements Exhibition

On December 30, 2025, 2025 “Study in China, Study in Guangdong" Education Achievements Exhibition, hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and organized by South China University of Technology, was held at the E5 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center on the Guangzhou International Campus of South China University of Technology. Representatives from 14 universities across the province, including our university, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, and South China Normal University, gathered together to present an audio-visual feast that showcased the achievements of international students studying in Guangdong and promoted cross-cultural exchanges. Our university's international student representatives actively participated, with Mohamed Oussama Boutaleb El Idrissi, Amal Fajri, and Idrissat Asmae, under the guidance of their instructors, collaborating with Chinese students to deliver a captivating performance titled "Telling China's Rural Culture to the World". Through a drama, they vividly recreated their in-depth exploration of Guangdong's rural areas, focusing on the unique characteristics of towns and villages, and utilizing their professional expertise to produce promotional films from the perspective of foreign students, narrating stories of high-quality development in Guangdong's rural regions in terms of historical culture, agricultural economy, and grassroots governance to the world.

Prior to the commencement of the exhibition, the international students also visited the Study in Guangdong Education Achievements Exhibition.
