International Students Won Award in 2023 "Charming Guangdong, Living My Dreams" Exchange Activity

On December 18th, the "2023 Charming Guangdong, Living My Dreams" Gala for foreign students studying in Guangdong province was held at the Ding Ying Auditorium of South China Agricultural University. It is an big event for international students jointly host by Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association， Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and Guangdong International Exchagne Association, supported by Guangdong Administration of Education. 

ISLOMKHON LAZIZKHON UGLIMAMAJONOV (马思杰，Uzbekistan, Grade 2021), OVSIIENKO ALINA (阿力娜，Ukraine, Grade 2023) and JING KIONGJING CHIENG (钱进强，Malaysia, Grade 2023) joined the gala with deep love for China and the opportunity to study in Guangdong. With the guidance of their instructors, they performed the classic Chinese song The moon speaks of my mind together with Chinese students Liang Haiyan and Du Jiahao, deeply and sincerely expressing their deep feelings for China, and finally won the third prize.

It is the first time that GDUFE has participated in this event since the enrollment of international students in 2018. Office of International Exchange and Cooperation Office is responsible for organizing, planning, arranging, and coordinating the event, and has received great support from the GDUFE's Communist Youth League Committee. Meanwhile, this event has been widely reported by China Daily, Nanfang Plus, and other prevailing media.
