Peng Rong is an associate professor of Statistics at School of Economics and Trade, Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in China. Dr. Peng received her M.Sc. in Probability and Mathematical Statistics at Central China Normal University in 2002 and Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Health Statistics at Sun Yat-sen University in 2011. Her current research focuses on long term care and aging health, longitudinal data analysis methods and long term care insurance. She studied at Duke University in the United State of American for one year as a visiting scholar from 2002 to 2003. She takes over or participates in several research projects, including projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanity and Social Science Youth Foundation of Ministry of Education of China and etc. She has published one book and more than 20 research articles, of which 4 were indexed by SSCI or SCI. As a teacher, Dr. Peng teaches both undergraduate courses and graduate courses. The undergraduate courses she teaches include Econometrics, Principle of Statistics, Design of Experiment, and Statistical Quality Control. Graduate Courses Dr. Peng Teaches are Design of Experiments and Data Mining, Life and Health Insurance, English in Statistics.
