Yao Xiaolin, born in April 1972, Han ethnicity, is a native of Hunan province. He successively got his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree in Hunan Normal University, Fudan University and Renmin University of China. At present, he is the associate professor of School of Law of Guangdong University of Finance and Economic. He mainly lectures courses such as jurisprudence, legislative science, legal logic and judicial sociology. He is specialized and interested in research on local legislation and judicial sociology. He once published more than 30 academic papers such as “Public Participation Mechanism in Project Approval Process of Local Laws and Regulations” and “View on Judicial Sociology as Scientific Form”; directed and participated in about 10 scientific research projects above provincial level; and published multiple academic monographs including Introduction to Judicial Sociology and Research on Logic and Methods of Laws. He was socially appointed as the standing director of Guangdong Local Legislation Institute and Sociological Jurisprudence Institute.
