Economic Statistics

Cultivation Objectives: Students will have a comprehensive moral, intellectual, physical development, mastering modern economic theory and statistical theory, methods, calculation tactics and relevant professional knowledge. They are to be trained as statistical experts engaging in economic statistical accounting, economic statistical analysis, market research, quality management, economic forecasting and related economic management. They should be competent in economic statistics and research practices in government departments, financial institutions of securities and various types of companies.

Training Specifications: Management and teaching based on credits, four-year undergraduate education, awarded Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Cultivation Direction: This discipline is divided into two directions of Social and Economic Statistics and Fnancial Statistics.

Major disciplines (direction of social and economic statistics ): economics, statistics 

Direction of furher studies: To engage in Master degrees of economics, management science in domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning.
Students' employment situation: In 2012, the employment rate was 100 percent; 2013 - 100 percent; 2014 - 100 percent.
Direction of students' employment: Graduates can work in government administration at all levels, companies and other enterprises or state-owned units engaging in data (information) collection and collation, forecasting and planning. They can also work in insurance companies, securities firms, banks and other financial institutions undertaking risk and assessment work. And they can teach and do research work in research and educational departments.
