Economics

Cultivation objectives: Students are to be cultivated having a comprehensive moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic development with integrated high-quality. They have a more systematic grasp of modern economic theory and analysis methods, with a solid theoretical knowledge of economics and a good application of foreign language, mathematics and computer skills. Those students are aimed to be trained as personnel possessing broad knowledge with the ability to work in the relevant fields of economics and management science, being able to engage in economic analysis, forecasting, planning and economic management, as well as working in government departments, financial institutions, enterprises, educational sectors and research institutions which involve related economic work.

Training Specifications: Management and teaching based on credits, four-year undergraduate education, awarded Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Direction of further studies: To engage in Master degrees of economics, management science in domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning.

Students' employment situation: In 2012, the employment rate was 100 percent; 201-100 percent; 2014-100 percent.

Direction of students' employment : Graduates can work in government functional departments, financial institutions, large companies, as journalists and in publishing institutions, universities, economic research institutes, economic consulting and economic service sectors engaging in theoretical research, decision-making advice, general management and other works.
