Program introduction: The academic degree education program is jointly developed in accordance with the 2 + 2 duel-bachelor-mode. Guangdong University of Finance and economics is responsible for the implementation of undergraduate teaching plans in the first and second academic years, while Exeter University is responsible for the implementation of undergraduate teaching plans in the third and fourth academic years, credit mutual recognition and degree joint award.
The project class has international vision and global thinking, systematically master modern financial management and business economic theory, have good English language application ability and cross-cultural communication ability, be able to discover, research and solve financial management problems of international financial institutions and large and medium-sized enterprises, with excellent moral quality, high comprehensive quality, strong leadership and self-development ability of compound, application-oriented, international high-end financial management personnel.
The standard duration of studies is four years. In accordance with the 2 + 2 mode of joint training, students first study on Foshan campus of Guangdong University of Finance and economics for 2 academic years, complete the required courses and credits [the total average score of the course is at least 85 points (100 points system), each major core course is at least 80 points (100 points system)], and obtain IELTS scores for British visa and Immigration (the total score is at least 6.5, and each item of listening, speaking, reading and writing is at least 6.0), and then Then, students study at Exeter University for two years. Students who meet the requirements of graduation and degree granting of the two universities at the same time during the study period will receive a bachelor's degree in management from Guangdong University of Finance and economics and a bachelor's degree from Exeter University.
