2.Brief Course Introduction

Mathematics Analysis I is an obligatory and main basic course. It provides the knowledge required in more advanced courses, improves thinking ability and helps the students cultivate the ability to analyzing and solve problems.

This course plays an important role in improving the students’ understanding of basic concepts and developing necessary skills. Teachers will focus on developing students’ ability to analyze and solve problems, as well as cultivating students’ logical thinking abilities.

The main content of the course includes the theory of limit, one-place calculus, series theory and multifold calculus. The theory of continuous data is persuasive in the whole system. The four main teaching goals of this course are a mastery of basic theory, basic definition, basic method and basic technique.

The course starts in the first term for freshmen in the Mathematics and Statistics Department. The total teaching time is 80 class hours.
