2. Brief Course Introduction

Soil Geography is a compulsory course for the major of physical geography. The main contents of this course include soil analysis (soil morphology,composition and properties),the occurrence of soil and the relationships between soil and geographical environment,soil classification (occurrence, diagnostics and the occurrence of Chinese soil classification), soil type, soil distribution, rational use and protection of soil resources. At the same time, this course introduces the basic knowledge of soil geography, the latest achievements of modern soil geography, and training students' ability to solve practical problems and engage in scientific research.  According to the characteristics of soil geography, this course also cooperated with the soil analysis, soil sample collection, data processing, field practice and other aspects of the internship content.
