2.Brief Course Introduction
This course aims at introducing social and cultural background of literature masterpieces, main features, major schools and representative writers of literature in different Japanese historical periods. The major teaching contents cover poetry, novels, essays and dramas, which will help students to understand the way of thinking and aesthetic characteristics of Japanese nationality.
