2.Brief Course Introduction
English Grammar is a compulsory course for English majors in universities and colleges, and also a basic course in our university. The course aims to, by the means of systematic instruction of English grammar, help students construct clear consciousness of English grammar, provide a thorough grounding in English grammar, enhance their capabilities to employ English grammar rules consciously when they use English in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, so as to express themselves with correct and proper English.
