2. Brief Course Introduction

Urban Economics is an interdisciplinary fusion of economics, management, and geography, and is a basic course for public administration professional. This course focuses on Industrial distribution, land, housing, infrastructure, environment, planning and management from the economic perspective. By introducing the frontier theoretical and academic literature of this discipline it inspires students to use the economic analysis methods and techniques, actively study the law of the urban development and know various problems in the urbanization process of China. By Combing the process of urban development and urban problems around us, This course aims to open up the horizons of students and deepen the students learning and research interests, develop good thinking habits,  and lay a solid foundation and right direction for a follow-up study and research.
