Liu Junfeng

Liu Junfeng is Associate Professor of School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance & Economics. His courtesy name is Qingfeng (literally fresh breeze) and pseudonym Lingnan Buyi (literally cloth gown, means civilian in ancient China). He worked as an editor of national academic journals before he joined the university. He holds a Ph.D. in Literature from Nanjing University.

Professor Liu currently teaches courses such as Contemporary Chinese Literature, Reading Lao Zi, College Chinese Language and Literature. His publications include Zhao Shuxia’s Literary World, Literary History of Oversea Chinese Language (co-authored), 80s’ Literature in the New Media Times (co-authored), and new textbook College Chinese Language and Literature. He has published more than fifty academic papers on nationally recognized journals such as Literary Review and Literature and Art Forum. 

The news program of Guangdong Radio Television(GRT) Satellite Channel and the magazine Guangdong Education both have made a feature report on professor Liu for his excellence in teaching and research. He has been elected the most popular teacher among students in the university and trainees at Guangdong Local Taxation Bureau and State Administration of Taxation. Apart from his social impact, professor Liu is a winner of the First Teaching Faculty Competition of Guangdong University of Finance & Economics.
