2. Brief Course Introduction

The main statistics method of psychology research presently is introduced in the curriculum of Psychological statistics, which includes: description statistics (data features and Statistics chart of the sample), the basic knowledge of probability, random variable and distribution, parameter points estimation and interval estimation, parameter assumed test, distribution test, variable independence test, the related analysis of all kinds of variable.Measurement reliability, unitary and  multivariate regression analysis,One-way analysis of variance, GLM-RM analysis and repeat measurement analysis, factor analysis. This curriculum is mainly focus on statistical thinking and statistical theory, SPSS operation approach, result interpretation and presentation. By learning this course, students can master the statistical thinking, principles and practical operation steps of statistical analysis methods,which include regression analysis, variance analysis, factor analysis, as well as the interpretation and presentation of the statistic results. So as the statistical methods of data analyzing can be skillfully used when students do the psychology research, thesis writing, even when they engage in related jobs after graduated.
