2. Brief Course Introduction

Experimental psychology is the scientific foundation of Undergraduate Psychology. In the psychological teaching program, the psychological research methods, psychological statistics and experimental psychology form the Methodology course modules, in which Experimental psychology occupies a pivotal position. By learning this curriculum, students can master the basic theory of experimental psychology and psychological experiment designs, students can also acquire the skill and thinking method of psychological experiment design. Students are required to master the ability of experimental operation, for which lay a solid foundation for the teaching and researching program later on. This curriculum includes: techniques of experimental design and statistical analysis, psychophysics, reaction time, perception, memory, language, thinking, social cognition and consciousness, the researching method and experimental evidence in the fields of Experimental psychology.
