2. Brief Course Introduction
Group Work is an obligatory course for the social work majors. It aims to teach students the theoretical knowledge of Group Work and to help the students master the related technology of Group Work in order to prepare them better for the social workers in their future career. The main contents include: the concepts of Group Work; the theoretical styles; the history of Group Work development; the process and evaluation of Group Work operation; the performance of the clients and the task of the social worker; the motivation of the Group Work; and the self-consciousness of social worker, and so on.
