2. Brief Course Introduction

    Chinese and Foreign Etiquette course is one of the optional courses of Chinese Language and Literature, aims at enhancing students’ social communication. It is a course in humanities, which studies the norm and rule of expressing respect that people use in daily life. It has special features and rich practicability. This course selects some practical etiquette and teaches students various etiquette at different occasions, such as clothing etiquette, dining etiquette, social etiquette, custom etiquette, diplomatic etiquette, business etiquette, job-hunting etiquette. Through this course, students will systematically learn general knowledge of etiquette both home and abroad, improve the communication competence and employment competitiveness, form a well and professional image. Moreover, this course trains students as people who know how to respect themselves and others,  with elegant posture, well-educated behavior and preeminent temperament.
