(2) A Brief Introduction to the Course

    Introduction to Animation is a professional basic course for undergraduates majoring in animation. The course is characterized by a strong foundation and a wide range of practicality. It is an introductory course for students to learn animation professional knowledge and an enlightenment course for undergraduates in related majors when they choose animation major. This course is divided into seven chapters, starting from the basic concepts, basic principles and basic laws of animation from the shallower to the deeper. From different angles and levels, it comprehensively and systematically describes the characteristics of animation art, the way of thinking, creation rules, and practicality. The function and subject system enable students to establish correct basic concepts of animation art, and lay a solid foundation for the in-depth study of professional knowledge of animation art in the future.
