Guangdong University of Finance and Economics (GDUFE) boasts a history of 37 years with rich experience in setting up the major of advertising based on other related majors such as communication, art design, marketing and management. All the above-mentioned majors in GDUFE possess a long history and enjoy high professional popularity in academic circle, having formed a strong professional group, curriculum group and faculty group. With the orientation of internationalizing professional development and grasping the international frontier advertising concept, some courses are taught bilingually. With cultivating students’ ability of advertising planning, communication, creativity and management as the core, it is expected to enable students to preserve the orientation of era characteristics and market demand as well as to follow the trend of new media communication and big data application. Moreover, students in our major have outstanding performance in all kinds of advertising competition. It is noteworthy that the graduation employment rate is rather high and employment quality is rather good in our major.

 

Training Goals

We aim to cultivate talents who can adapt to the contemporary market demands, possess innovation awareness and creative thinking, master basic theory and skills of advertising planning and design, acquire related discipline knowledge in marketing, communication, management and etc. Being familiarized with various forms of advertising communication, our graduates are competent in advertising business management, planning, design, production and dissemination in media advertising departments, advertising companies, consulting companies, public relations firms.
