(2) Course Introduction

  “Econometrics” is a foundation course of finance. This course is a compulsory course in economics and management major. Econometrics is a branch of economics that reveals the objective relationship between economic activities and the quantitative relationship. It provides a basic research and analysis method for thinking and describing economic issues and policies. The purpose of this course is mainly to enable students to set up econometric models based on qualitative analysis of economic problems and to reveal the law of social economic phenomena through the model hypothesis test.
