Operational management is the set of activities that creates value in the form of goods and services by transforming inputs into outputs. Activities creating goods and services take place in all organizations. Operation management has become one of the core courses for undergraduate and graduate education in various majors of management. This course takes the process of operation management as a clue, and starts to develop students' operation management skills from two parts: operation system design, and operation and maintenance of the operation system. The main contents of operation system design include: operation strategy, product and service design, strategic capacity management, process analysis and design, service process, etc. The main content involved in the operation and maintenance of the operating system includes: Six Sigma quality management, enterprise resource planning, lean production, project management, etc.
