Zhang YuShan, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Master Supervisor. He received doctoral degree in computer science from South China University of Technology in 2013. He was a visiting scholar in SCUT from Sept, 2014 to June, 2015.
Dr. Zhang has taught Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics, History of Mathematics, Digital Signal Processing, Functions of Real Variable, etc.
Dr. Zhang's main research interests include the theoretical foundation of evolutionary algorithms, convergence and time complexity analysis of bio-inspired algorithms. He has published more than 20 papers in Science China, Chinese Journal of Computers, Journal of Computer Research and Development as well as Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience, etc. He is in charge of projects for the Ministry of Education of China, State Key Laboratory and attended projects of NSFC, GDNSF.
