2．Brief Course Introduction
Operations Research is a major course for students majoring in information and computing science as well as mathematics and mathematic application. Operations research is mainly focused on finding the optimal solution of a system and provides a quantitative scientific basis to decision makers by modeling and resolving problems. The core contents of this course includes an introduction, linear programming and simplex method, dual linear programming and application, transportation programming, goal programming, integer programming, dynamic programming, graph theory and network analysis theory, critical path method and program evaluation review technique, decision theory and queuing theory.
