Numerical calculation is a major course in mathematics and applied mathematics, information and computing science, and other professional courses. This Course mainly introduces the common numerical methods, their algorithm design and programming, and pays particular attention to their practical applications. By studying the characteristics and the importance of numerical calculation, students will develop in depth knowledge of some basic numerical methods and their characteristics. In this program students will master the following areas: calculation error, for solving functional equations, interpolation and approximation, numerical integration and differentiation, linear algebraic equations method, numerical methods for solving initial value problems for ordinary differential equation. The course requires knowledge of mathematical analysis, linear algebra, advanced language programming and so on.
