Li Tao holds a PhD in Transport Geography (Sun Yat-sen University, 2014), a Master’s Degree in Human Geography (South Normal University). In 2014, he became part of the Department of Geography & Tourism of the Guangdong University of Finance & Economics. He teaches, among others, Human Geography; Urban Geography; Transport Geography. His research focuses on transport geography, land use, polycentric urban development. As Project manager, he conducted for the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Guangdong Provincial government.
