Wu Kaijun

Wu Kaijun, male, was born in Shangrao of Jiangxi in May of 1973. He graduated from Jinan University as a master and then from Xiamen University as a doctor majoring in tourism management. Now he is a vice-professor. He had ever worked in Science and Technology Trade College of Guangzhou University as a vice-director in the educational administration department. In 2011, he was transferred to the tourism institute of Guangdong University of Business Studies (The name of the university was changed into Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in July of 2013) (The name of the institute was changed into Geography and Tourism College) and has been engaging in teaching and research work. He has been teaching undergraduates some courses including “the Geography of Tourism ", “the Tourism Industry in Guangdong Province”, the Tourism Enterprises' Strategic Management", "Business Etiquette", "Social Etiquette", “the Exhibition Policies and Regulations”, “Exhibition and Convention Venue Management and Operation "," Introduction to Modern Service Industry " and “the Corporate Image Planning and Design", and graduate students some courses including “the Frontier of Tourism Management ", “the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Tourism Industry Comparative Study". So far he has been involved in consulting for more than 50 businesses, and nearly 20 reports for some enterprises. And he has published more than 30 papers in some CSSCI such as the “Journal of Tourism”, "Economic Management", "Science and Technology Management Research, the Statistics and Decision", and “the Overseas Chinese Historical Research " and some common journals. And he has written and published one professional book. Meanwhile, he has been engaging in some tourism plans related to basic research and regional tourism.

Research Interests: Tourism Development Strategy, Tourism Development and Planning, Exhibition Tourism.
