Quantitative geography is the science to use mathematical methods and computer technology, through the establishment of a geographic measurement model, to analysis the relationship between different geographical elements, the simulation of the spatial and temporal evolution of the system, to provide a scientific basis for the analysis and planning of geography. At present, based on the big data and high performance computing, the subject of geo-computation is the future development direction of quantitative geography. The course content includes the geographical data acquisition and preprocessing, the classical statistical analysis method, spatial statistical analysis, linear programming and multi-objective programming, input output analysis, AHP decision analysis, geographical network analysis and so on.
