Tourism geography course introduces the basic theory and methods of Tourism geography, including tourist behavior, tourism demand research, and evaluation of tourism resources. It includes tourism division, tourism impacts and tourism planning. Students should be understand the basic types and value of tourism and the distribution of main natural tourism resources of China; understanding the types and basic features of Chinese major cultural tourism resources. Understand the directions and strategies for tourism resources development on all regions. Students should also learn how to find travel literature, reading and essay writing and other basic knowledge for the Graduate Record Examination and undergraduate thesis laying the foundation for writing.
