Zhang Xiangming, associate professor of English, Head of Applied English Department, M.A. of Foreign Linguistics & Applied Linguistics in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, PhD candidate of Curriculum & Teaching Methodology (English) in the South China Normal University.
Courses offered: English lexicology, English grammar, English writing, etc.
Research interests: bilingual lexicography, applied linguistics, etc.
Scientific research achievements:
He has published 28 papers, including 11 key periodical papers; is a co-author of 3 monographs, compiler of 3 English dictionaries, and author of 3 English reference books.
He is in charge of the Ministry of Education youth foundation project of humanities & social sciences, a Guangzhou municipal philosophy & social sciences project, a Guangdong provincial education & research project, a National foreign language teaching & research project for universities, sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press, and three university-level research projects. He has also guided his students in obtaining a provincial project and a university-level project.
