Ever Since she graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1997 with an MA, she has been teaching courses related to English and devoted herself to research on translation theory and practice. Between August 2009 and February 2010 she pursued research at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke as a visiting scholar. The courses she has instructed include Comparison and Translation between Chinese and English, Chinese-English Translation, Thesis Writing, English Writing, etc. She has published 16 academic papers and translated several books. On account of her excellent performance in the university she has won numerous awards.
