2. Brief Course Introduction
Chinese-English Translation is a skill-based compulsory course for the English majors. By analyzing the features of Chinese words, sentences and discourses, the course aims to shed light on the correspondence between the two languages. The course also involves a lot of translation exercises in terms of different topics and styles for the students to acquire due competence to translate from Chinese to English in a variety of contexts.
