The course of Thesis Writing (Japanese) aims to provide a guide to thesis preparation for Japanese majors, to help students learn the systemic and theoretical application of the knowledge to thesis writing so as to advance students' comprehensive abilities and qualities. The contents of the course involve data collecting, thesis writing format, frequently used sentence patterns, research methods, etc. After the study of the course, students are expected to be familiar with the various steps (i.e. from choosing a research topic to final thesis) in the process of writing a thesis, to learn the necessary skills of a general academic research, and finally to develop their academic research ability.
