Tan Xuhong (female) is an associate professor in the School of Arts, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics. She graduated from the School of Design, Jiangnan University with a Masters degree in Visual Communication Design. She loves teaching and has been at the 1st teaching post for 10 years, exerting herself in order to search for artistic teaching methods which can arouse students’ enthusiasm for learning and exercise their practical ability, teaching the main professional courses of Plane Advertising Design, TV Advertisement Design, Brand Image Recognition Design, Graphic Design and Layout Design to good effect.
She provides guidance to over 100 students for competitions and has won more than 30 national awards, winning the title of National Top 10 Excellent Instructor and Provincial Excellent Instructor, and also won the award for her teaching achievements. She has a solid foundation of doing scientific research and has over 10 research papers published in academic journals at a provincial level. She has taken charge and participated in 3 longitudinal research issues at municipal level and taken charge and participated in 5 lateral issues. She has impressive design practice ability and rich experience. She has taken charge and participated in many design projects for enterprises and institutions that have created good social benefits.
