A Brief Introduction
Du Zhaoming (male) is the Dean of the School of Arts and a University Professor. He is also the Executive Director of the Professional Committee of Art & Design Education at Guangdong College & University; a member of the Academic Committee of Architecture & Environment Design of Guangdong College & University; a member of the Academic Board, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics and an expert of Foshan Social Sciences Expert Database.
He is mainly engaged in architectural and environmental art design. He has had over 30 papers published in periodicals of Decoration, Literature Contend, and Chinese Architectural Decoration. He has successively taken charge of projects for the Humanities & Social Sciences of Education Ministry, Philosophy & Social Sciences of Guangdong Province, and projects entrusted by the Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department. He has participated in the research project for the National Social Science Fund and the project of Quality Resource Sharing Course Construction of Guangdong Province. He has participated in compiling and publishing 2 teaching course books.
He has won Excellent Paper awards in the 4th and 5th National Environment Design Forum sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association. His scientific & research papers on art education won the 1st and 3rd prize sponsored by the Guangdong Education Department. His paper won the 1st prize in the annual meeting held by the Professional Committee of Art & Design Education of Guangdong Provincial Colleges & Universities. He won the 2nd prize Teaching Achievement Award on our university campus, and won the silver prize and an honor prize in the 5th and 7th Interior Design Biannual respectively. He has also won the following awards: the 2nd prize in the National Furniture Design Competition, the 3rd prize in the National Interior Design Competition, an honor prize in the National Interior Design Hand Painting Performance, the gold prize in the Exhibition of Design works of Guangdong Decoration Industry, and the 2nd prize in the First Interior Design Competition of Guangdong Province.
