2. Brief Course Introduction
Building Project Budgets is one of the main courses in the Major of Real Estate Development and Management. Its aims is not only to strengthen students’ skills and concepts of project costs, but also to prepare for the qualification examinations of the China's Registered Cost Engineer, Registered Supervising Engineer, Registered Architect. Its purpose is to enable students to understand the constitution of building project budgets, control methods of civil construction project costs of each part of the project costing, calculation methods of the specific construction of a project budget and its documentation. Through this course, students can grasp the composition of the construction cost, the methods of engineering calculation, document preparation and management.
