Real estate surveying and mapping is a professional surveying and mapping course of using various surveying and mapping instruments, surveying and mapping technology, and the surveying as well as mapping method to determine the nature of ownership status, location, quantity, quality and utilization of the housing, land and real estate.Through learning, the purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the performance and structure of common surveying and mapping instruments and methods, to master real estate control surveying and large scale real estate mapping method, to be familiar with the applications of real estate maps, and to understand the basic methods of industrial and civil construction surveying. Through the course, students in the process of real estate development and management of surveying, planning, design and construction, can use basic knowledge of various measurement methods.The basic contents of this course includes: leveling instruments, theodolite, total station and other equipment structure and method, surveying methods of elevation, horizontal angle , vertical angle and distance, measurement error sources and processing methods, plane control survey, leveling control survey method, property map measuring method, basic methods of industrial and civil construction surveying.
