Zhang Qiong

Zhang Qiong is full professor of School of Humanities and Communication and master’s supervisor in Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. She has long been interested in traditional culture and literary studies (local culture and literature especially), authored over thirty academic papers in nationally recognized journals.
During the past decade, she has been the principal investigator of two provincial social science projects and one research project under the Ministry of Education, author of Poems of Lingnan-sijia in the Middle of the Qing Dynasty(2012). In September 2008 she joined as a Contract Research Fellow in Institute of the Chinese Classic of Sun Yat-sen University to the collecting work in Yue Poem(2010).
She was one of the key teachers at the university awarded for excellence in teaching in 2009. In June 2010 she was elected a member of the training project “1000-100-10 Talents” of Guangdong province.
