Sima Xiaowen

Sima Xiaowen received her M.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from South China Normal University. She is a professor in Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature of School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance and Economics.
She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses such as Basic Writing, Applied Writing, and Theory Studies on Chinese Modern and Contemporary Essays. She has authored over thirty academic papers in a number of nationally recognized journals, published several Chinese language textbooks, including Course in Applied Composition(2013) and College Chinese Language and Literature(2010).
Professor Sima has been the principal investigator of a number of national or provincial research projects, recipient of the first prize for her teaching and research excellence in university. She is also the principal investigator of the research project on Creative Writing, and her research group has been awarded by the university for its excellence.
