JiangBing

Professor Jiang Bing is Dean and postgraduate supervisor of School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. Apart from his leadership role at the school, he also holds a number of academic or social positions, including Vice-chairman of Worldwide Chinese Language Association of Creative Writing, Deputy Secretary-General of Chinese Fiction Institution, member of Chinese’s Writer’s Association, Executive Director of Chinese Association of Contemporary Literature, Vice-chairman of Guangdong Chinese Literature Association, Vice-chairman of Guangzhou Literary and Artistic Critics Association, Key Scholar of Guangdong Province, member of the New Critic of Chinese’s Writer’s Association and member of Guangdong Top Ten Sociology and Popular Science Experts.

He has hosted 2 national programs and 3 provincial or ministerial level research projects. He is the author of seven published books, including Interpretation of Literary Review, Literature and Art Forum, Culture of Chinese Clothing, From Ancient to the Modern, Post 80s’ Literature in the New Media Times. 

Professor Jiang has published more than a hundred research papers in leading academic journals such as Literary Criticism, Contention of Literature and Art. His paper has been selected as one of the most influential academic articles of the field in the New Century.

He has been a Jury of Chinese Fiction Annual Ranking List, Jury of Chinese Fiction Institution Prize, and guest speaker of Lingnan Auditorium. His lectures on “post 80s” has been delivered in more than twenty leading universities in China and overseas.
