Hu Jiansheng

Hu Jiansheng, Ph.D. in literature, born in Xu Zhou, Jiangsu Province in 1965, is a professor of the School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. Currently he mainly teaches compulsory, optional and general-knowledge courses including History of Foreign Literature, Selected Readings in Foreign Literature, Western Literature in the 20th Century, Appreciation of Drama and Opera, Selected Lectures of Virtuous People in Chinese Culture.
He has published academic papers on nationally recognized journals such as Foreign Literature Review, Social Sciences Abroad, Drama, Academic Forum, Ganshu Social Sciences, Dongyue Tribune, Qilu Journal, Hundred Schools in Arts, Ethnic Art Studies, etc. He also published books including An Exploration of Foreign Classic Writers’ Work (2004) and An Exploration of Distinguished Writers and Outstanding Works in Chinese and Western Drama(2012), etc.
