Bei Xianming

Bei Xianming, Associate Professor, is the vice-director of the Chinese Language and Literature Department in Guangdong University of Business Studies and the member of the Chinese Language Association in Guangdong. He received a doctorate from Nankai University and holds a postdoctoral position in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. His main research interests are phonetics and dialectology. By 2015, he has been in charge of one MOE (Ministry of Education in China) project of Humanities and Social Sciences, one project of Chinese Postdoctoral Science Fund, two subprojects of the Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, one scientific research project of Guangdong University of Business Studies, one school-level project in the teaching quality of Guangdong University of Business Studies and one school-level project in teaching and research. He has also taken part in the National Social Science Found program, the MOE (Ministry of Education in China) Project of Humanities and Social Sciences and other projects. He has published more than 20 theses in the “Journal of Chinese Linguistics” and other journals.
