Ma Chijie

Ma Chijie is full Professor of Journalism and Deputy Dean of School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance and Economics. In addition to his position in School of Humanities and Communication in GDUFE, he also holds a number of other academic positions including member of Teaching Steering Committee of Communication majors of Guangdong Province, he is head of key disciplines under supportive policy at the university, council member of Academic Committee in GDUFE and Ph.D. supervisor of Jinan University.
He has been a principal investigator of a national research project under Ministry of Education, a number of provincial projects and three transverse research projects (supported by enterprises), author of over thirty academic papers and two textbooks. Professor Ma has been awarded by the university for his excellence in teaching and research.
Professor Ma’s main research interests include broadcast television, the Internet, new media and media convergence.
