Li Meihua

Li Meihua, born in Hunan Province, China, is a full professor of Developmental and Educational Psychology. She holds a Master in General Psychology awarded in June, 1998, a Ph.D. in Developmental and Educational Psychology and a postdoctoral degree in Psychology Linguistics that she received in July, 2008.
Professor Li has engaged in teaching at secondary schools before 1995. She joined the university in 1995. She has been a member faculty in Ideological and Educational Department and School of Humanities and Communication in Guangdong University of Finance & Economics from July 2008 until now. She was a senior visiting scholar in Adelphi University in 2014.
She hosted a number of national or ministerial level programs and one provincial level program. Her publications include one monograph, three textbooks and more than forty research papers. She was the recipient of a number of school-level and municipal awards, and winner of the Third Zhu Zhixian Psychology Prize in March 2008.
Her personal motto is: The healthy development of my students is the greatest enjoyment in my career.
