Fang Jie

Fang Jie, Lecturer, is the Director of the department of Applied Psychology in Guangdong University of Business Studies. He has a master degree and the doctorate in Psychological Statistics and Measurement from South China Normal University. His main research interest is moderating and mediating the effects of testing. He is in charge of one MOE (Ministry of Education in China) project of Humanities and Social Sciences and one Guangdong 12th Five-Year Plan project of philosophy and social sciences. In recent five years, he has published more than ten theses on CSSCI source journals. His theses have won the Best Paper Award in the 30th anniversary of the Establishment of “ Psychological Development and Education” and the Best Paper Award for 2014  in “Psychological Science”.  He is responsible of psychological statistics and measurement, the courses of educational psychology, social psychology and new progress in psychological research and other teaching duties. He was awarded the Excellent Homeroom Teacher of 2014-2015. He has guided students to gain five provincial-level projects in Innovation Training of College Students in Guangdong since 2013 and he successfully set up the 2015 Guangdong Undergraduate Higher Education Institutions Quality Project ----“the Comprehensive Reform and Experiment of Applied Psychology.”  He also set up and operates the Wechat public account “Applied Psychology in Guangdong University of Business Studies” and the official microblog, which help publicize the department of Applied Psychology.
