2.Brief Course Introduction
Cognitive Psychology is not only a specialized course but a methodological course. Based on the general psychology, it is a more specialized and in-depth course which mainly discusses the system of information processing and the representation of knowledge. As a methodological course, Cognitive Psychology boasts precise, scientific and exquisite experience design - a scientific research method that psychology majors have to learn. It helps students to understand how people attain information from objective environment, and how information will be redisplayed, transformed, reserved, and applied to guide human mind and behaviors; and to understand the psychological features and regularities of humans ranging from consciousness to mind. Consequently, it enables students to perform their cognitive competence better with these knowledge.
