General Psychology is a basic subject of psychology. It studies the common laws of psychological phenomenon, history, trends, theoretical system, branches and research methods of psychology. General psychology summarizes research results of psychological sub-disciplines, from which it sums up the general laws of psychology and provide theoretical foundations for them. General psychology is the primary course for psychology.
