2. Brief Introduction

Criminal Psychology is a science which studies the formation, development and change rules of psychological structure effecting and controlling criminals to commit crimes as well as psychological accordance of criminal strategies. It is a discipline crossing Criminology and Psychology, which highlights both theory and practice. From perspective of Psychology, Criminal Psychology studies causes, process and rules of forming criminal psychology and implementing crimes. By doing so, it can provides scientific rules and methods of psychology for judicial office to disclose and punish criminals so that crimes can be prevented and rectified in time. Through the study of Criminal Psychology, students can understand its theoretical system and basic concepts get to know the causes and change rules of its formation, master psychology of criminals of different types. By preventing, disclosing and rectifying strategies and techniques of criminal psychology, students would be greatly improved in capability of fighting against criminals.
