Legal Reports is an elective course for undergraduates majoring in Journalism. By studying this course, students will learn and discuss some distinctive cases, analyze the causes and disadvantages occurring in the problems, and to put forward resolutions. This course includes: public opinion misleading in legal reports, being objective in legal report writing, trial by mass media in legal reports, and infringement on human dignity in legal reports. This course will enable students to grasp a developmental history of legal reports in China and the current problems to improve their analyzing and problem-solving ability, to lay a firm foundation for the future work of legal reports.
