2.Brief Course Introduction

    As a combination of ‘statistics’ and ‘social research’, Quantitative Research Methods which describes social conditions in the aspect of numbers, aiming at how to get the methods of statistics applied to social research, is a subject of macro methodology,. It takes social life and social development as the core with a synthetic study. The objective of learning this course aims at training students to use statistical methods, depict social conditions, social development and relevant social problems in terms of number so as to enable students explain some relevant problems in social life and social development from a view of macro point with the method of comprehensive evaluation, and study how the certain specific aspect during the social development influence the social development in the macro level.
